"An interesting world" permalink
I'm not much for pirates or for romance stories featuring heroines dropped "into another world" , but I do think that one thing this story does quite well is reflect the author's comfort with writing about the pirate world and history. There's a confident presentation of "life as it was in the 1700s" that comes through, and for me -- wholly unfamiliar with this type of world…Read More

This book keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end, and even then the author has you begging for more. If you like adventure, with a hint of historical fact and attitude, then this novel is for you.
